Mosaic Monday

It feels like autumn turned into winter in the last days. The nights have been very cold, down to-4C. Today it is raining and blowing so hard, I'm sure that before the evening  there is not one leaf left on the trees around here. So let's enjoy my autumn photos from the previous week.

The Meadow Brown was a new visitor in my garden this summer.

  1. I'm sorry to hear it is so cold there for you. But the short Fall season provided you with glorious colour. Fantastic photos.

  13. It is so sad that the color on the trees doesn't last longer because it is so beautiful! Our trees are almost bare now which is earlier than usual and caused by the drought this summer. Gorgeous dahlia too!

  15. Your macros are just stunning--so clear, crisp and focused. I'm still working on achieving that effect. I like the variety in your fall foliage mosaic. Fall colored trees look great in rows, as an accent in a green border. But best of all reflected in water.

  23. You take the most beautiful photos and know just how to arrange them for lovely mosaics! You've really had pretty color. And it got cold overnight here, too. We've had 2 days of bitterly cold and wind with snow on the mountains!
